These are not matchstick blinds!. 
They are made from hand cut 1/8" bamboo slats. All the slats are cut by hand with a machete!! Extremely time consuming work. (Note: picture below with a dime, it takes 8 slats width to cover 1 dime!)

The pull cord is down the center (not left or right like normal blinds), and is tied off on a cord cleat at the required height. This style of pull cord is probably the oldest style arrangement in the world. (long before cord lock were invented!!). All blinds come with complete mounting hardware and a solid whole bamboo headrail on the top and bottom of each blind.

These blinds can be used for indoor or outdoor purposes. (outdoor blinds will be varnished).We do not recommend the white canvas edging for outdoor usage. (This is probably our most favorite blind, the primitive look!, they do not have many options but you can't argue with 1200 years of history and experience!)
